Ryan is responsible for setting the company’s vision and leading the team to success. He is tasked with keeping the firm in a steady state of innovation and product development. Ryan relishes inspiring a diverse team of people who are not motivated just to win—they want to get better at what they do every day.

Ryan is a founding member and President and Chief Executive Officer of Personify. He joined the firm in 2001 after a successful career in division one athletics as both a player and a coach.

Over the last twenty years, Ryan has led the transformation of Personify from a locally owned, boutique executive search firm to an award-winning, global provider of RPO solutions. Ryan led Personify to multiple appearances on both the Inc. 5000 “fastest-growing privately held companies in America” and “Bakers Dozen” list, which recognizes the top Recruitment Process Outsourcing providers in America. Ryan was named and has been a finalist for Triangle Business Journal’s “40 under 40” and has been nominated as one of 2022 Ernst and Young’s “Entrepreneur of the Year” Southeast finalists. 

Ryan grew up outside of New York City and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
