Matt joined Personify in 2009 as a recruiter in clinical diagnostics and life sciences. Over the years, he took on more responsibility across various positions, including Recruiting Manager and Program Manager. Since 2017, Matt serves as Senior Manager of Enterprise sales, where he leads Personify’s commercial RPO sales team.

After graduating from Appalachian State with a B.A. in Communications, Matt jumped into recruiting. Before joining Personify, Matt recruited in various industries, including IT, light industrial, finance, and accounting. One of his first recruiting opportunities was with Prologistix, a light industrial staffing firm that is part of Employbridge.

Through years of experience recruiting across different business categories and job functions, Matt learned traditional recruitment methodologies are outdated or altogether broken. Matt’s unique perspective enables a consultative approach with HR and business executives to help optimize talent acquisition strategies and methods to improve KPIs like time-to-source, candidate quality, and cost-per-hire while driving costs down.

Matt grew up in Winston-Salem, NC, and graduated from Appalachian State University. Matt lives in Raleigh with his wife and three boys.
